Ravi Barsur High Missing In Toxic Trailer?

The last time talented music composer, Ravi Barsur worked with Kannada superstar, Yash, he delivered an iconic blockbuster in the form of KGF and KGF 2. So the expectations are going to be pretty significant on their upcoming collaboration Toxic.

As toxic is preparing for its release this month, the promotional campaign has intensified and the trailer for the film was released last night. Naturally, great things were expected from the musical score for the trailer as the combination of Ravi and Yash had delivered iconic music in KGF earlier.

However, the public reaction to the musical work for the trailer Toxic has not been as positive as expected. There is a general opinion that Ravi has failed to produce his trademark high inducing BGM for the trailer.

The trailer is loaded with action shots and elevation episodes, so there was sample opportunity for Ravi to come up with his iconic loud theme music like he did for KGF earlier. But he kept it more generic and formulaic which isn’t what is expected from a talented musician like him.

The best fact about KGF in terms of technical aspect is that it had an iconic theme music that literally took the film places. This is the musical score that Ravi is expected to deliver for Toxic as well. But till now, none of the video material from Toxic has been able to match the expectations in terms of musical compositions.

But at the same time, there is the big opportunity for Ravi to redeem himself and compensate for weak musical work thus far by coming up with sensationally good stuff for the full film.

This is the point of difference here as Ravi can get back in the big stage if he delivers resounding sound track for Toxic film as the majority of the theatrical experience will depend on his musical score.
