Deepika Padukone To Join Ranbir And Alia In Brahmastra 2?

Ranbir Kapoor is set to return to the world of Brahmastra, with the second part of the franchise to become his next major project after Ramayana. According to Bollywood media, director Ayan Mukerji and his team are currently working on the script of Brahmastra 2.

Ranbir is expected to complete the shooting of Ramayana Part 2 by January 2027. After a short break, he will begin shooting for Brahmastra 2 in April 2027. Yet another highlight of this film is that Ayan Mukerji is in talks with Deepika Padukone for the role of Amruta.

Discussions are currently underway with Deepika, and the sequel is expected to be much bigger than the first part. Ranbir will be seen in the roles of both Shiva and Dev, while Alia Bhatt will also return as Isha.

Some time back, there was news that Brahmastra 2 was put on the back burner as director Ayan Mukerji gave a huge flop with War 2. But seeing the way things are moving, the project is moving ahead without any breaks.

The second part will reportedly expand the Astraverse and explore Indian mythology. Ranbir also has Love and War with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Animal Park with Sandeep Vanga. So, how all these films will be spaced out needs to be seen.
