Awwal Number Productions is introducing its maiden production venture, Ameer Log. The film, produced by Madhavi Reddy Soma, has Ramana Reddy Soma at the helm as director. Manohar Reddy Manchuri serves as co-producer.
The movie stars MC Hari, Manoj, Sashidhar & Vedha Jalandhar in the lead. Spirit Media, the banner associated with Rana Daggubati, is bringing the film to theatres across Telugu markets.
Director Ramana Reddy Soma says the entire team was certain that they had made a successful film. He described Ameer Log as an unprecedented attempt and said he had invested considerable effort in creating something fresh.
The director also pointed to the response generated by the premieres as a major confidence booster. He felt that the reactions from viewers indicated that the film had achieved the objective with which it was made.
Ramana Reddy Soma believes the Telugu film industry is entering a new phase where Hyderabad can become a centre for distinctive and unconventional storytelling. Referring to the popularity of Malayalam cinema for its unique narratives, he said the time has come for Hyderabad to produce films that generate a similar conversation.
He confidently stated that the buzz created by Ameer Log in Nizam on August 21 would not remain confined to one region and would eventually resonate across the other Telugu territories.
Ameer Log is now ready to put that promise to the test as it reaches theatres on August 21.
