Prabhas’ Spirit In Hyderabad Backdrop, Fans Disappointed?

Prabhas’ most awaited film Spirit has become the talk of the town after a series of interviews by producer Pranay Reddy Vanga, brother of director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Many Prabhas fans expected Spirit to be an intense cop drama with a huge scale and international segments. However, Pranay Vanga recently made it clear that the story is mainly based out of Hyderabad. This has disappointed some fans who were expecting a much bigger international backdrop.

But the scale of the story may not be the main point. Sandeep Reddy Vanga is known for creating strong drama and intense characters, irrespective of the scale or locations.

By the time of release, Sandeep Vanga is expected to set the right expectations and present this Hyderabad-based cop drama on a pan-India level. The film stars Triptii Dimri of Animal fame as the female lead.

It should be remembered how he made a massive film like Animal largely within one city, building a strong connection with his hometown without relying on a pan world scale or international locations.

Spirit is currently scheduled to hit screens on March 5, 2027. After Spirit, Sandeep Reddy Vanga will reunite with Ranbir Kapoor again for Animal Park.
