Rock Star Yash, who scored Pan India success with KGF films, is hoping for a solid comeback with Toxic on August 26.
The high-octane action thriller is slowly building strong buzz ahead of its release, despite some negative reactions to the content released so far.
The film’s advance sales for the opening day are doing well. As per trade estimates, Yash starrer Toxic has already reached around Rs 15 crore in advance bookings in india.
If the film gets more buzz, especially in the Hindi belt, in the coming days, it has a chance of opening with a triple-digit number on Day 1.
Considering the film’s budget and business, Toxic needs to do big numbers at the box office. However, the talk after the first shows will be very important for its long-term performance. All eyes are on the opening talk and initial reviews from its premieres.
Starring Yash in the lead role, the film features Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasanth, Huma Qureshi and Tara Sutaria in key female roles. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic is made on a massive budget and backed by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations.
