Hero Teja Sajja is all set to enthrall in the second installment of the blockbuster film Zombie Reddy, announced officially on the occasion of his birthday. The zombies are back, and this time they are bringing a whole new level of craziness. The makers have introduced the second chapter of the popular zombie franchise with a high-energy glimpse. Created by Prasanth Varma and directed by Suparn S Varma of Family Man 2 series fame, the film is mounted ambitiously by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under People Media Factory. This is Teja Sajja’s second film with the banner, following the massive blockbuster Mirai.
The glimpse starts with a zombie plunging from a flyover and landing on a truck. The mystery behind the fall gradually unfolds, eventually revealing Teja’s character behind the wheel of a car while zombies close in on him. The scene then shifts to Charminar, where Teja stands atop a car, holding a cricket bat as waves of zombies try to attack him. His declaration, “This time, next level,” perfectly sets the mood for the title announcement- Zombie Reddy2 NXT LVL.
The title card continues the theme with a quirky joystick-shaped logo featuring a zombie hand. The film appears to retain the youthful spirit of Zombie Reddy while significantly raising the stakes. It’s bigger, bolder and bloodier than the first movie.
Teja appears in a familiar look with glasses, but the world around him is considerably more dangerous and visually expansive. Real Star Upendra and Shanaya Kapoor add further star power to the cast.
The music is another highlight of the glimpse. Gowra Hari brings together a Telangana folk tune, contemporary sounds and eerie zombie elements to create an unusual sonic blend. Abhinandan Ramanujam handles the camera, Banglam oversees production design, and Vijay Velukutty edits the film.
The film is scheduled for a global release in all South Indian languages and Hindi, along with Nepali and Japanese.
