Ravi Teja’s Irumudi is cruising at the Box Office. The movie crossed the Break-even mark on the second day itself, a feat not achieved by any notable film in the last one decade.
The buyers are expecting the movie to have long legs due to Devotional Content and Family Drama that will appeal to family audiences.
But then, there is an impending danger for the film in the form of Toxic in Nizam. Toxic is releasing on Wednesday, the sixth day after Irumudi release.
Dil Raju brought the AP and Telangana Rights of the movie for a huge price and is doing business to the extent of 80 Crore in both the Telugu states Rights.
The movie is expected to have a massive release in Nizam. That means most of the SVC and Asian theaters will go to Toxic. That means Irumudi will have theaters problem from Wednesday.
It is alright for Irumudi on Wednesday and Thursday. But the movie will need a good number of theaters over the Weekend.
If Toxic talk is good, Irumudi will not get a good release over the second weekend.
Mythri is distributing Irumudi in Nizam. It is acquiring theaters in Nizam at a rapid pace but is not yet there.
We can not blame Dil Raju as well for this scenario because he can not sacrifice his own theaters when he put so much of money in Toxic.
