This Dasara season is going to be a packed one for the South Indian audience as we have multiple options coming up at the box office. There are two notable films in the contention here and they are Jailer 2 and Ranabaali.
Jailer 2 is an action film featuring superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role, and it comes with the franchise advantage as well. It is the extension of earlier Jailer, which was a big success at the box office.
This is preparing for its release on October 15, and the promotional campaign has started already.
On the other hand, we have the case of Ranabaali featuring Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. This film is confirmed to be releasing in theatres on October 16, on the occasion of Dasara.
In terms of Telugu box office, we have an interesting prospect brewing. This is largely due to the superstardom that Rajinikanth has in the Telugu states and the significant performance of Jailer, which will add elevated platform to the second part now.
