She will next be seen alongside Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran in Daayra, a crime drama directed by Meghna Gulzar. The film is scheduled to release on September 18, and the pairing has become a talking point.

Interestingly, Kareena’s South connection is only getting better. Industry reports suggest that she is in advanced discussions to star opposite Dhanush in a large-scale mythological jungle adventure backed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
