Sriwass’ High-Stakes Political Thriller Phoenix Raja

Director Sriwass took some break and announced his new film titled Phoenix Raja. The makers have now unveiled the first poster and a 2D motion teaser of the film, offering a glimpse into an intense narrative built around power, politics, drugs and justice.

It’s the story of a principled businessman who chooses to depend on his own efforts instead of political influence. His straightforward approach to life puts him in the crosshairs of people who wield considerable power.

As the conflict escalates, his fight expands beyond personal survival and becomes a battle over values, truth and the future. The film also addresses a disturbing contemporary reality- the influence of the drug mafia among Gen Z.

The film’s title itself provides an important clue to its thematic foundation. The Phoenix, known for rising again after destruction, becomes a metaphor for resilience and rebirth. In the world of Phoenix Raja, truth may be challenged, suppressed or pushed into darkness, but it is destined to emerge again.

Backed by Mahankali Nagaraju under Madhavi Creations, the project is being mounted on an ambitious scale.
