Odela Passed Where Buchi Failed

The buzz around special songs has been very high for both Peddi and The Paradise. Interestingly, both films are being made by directors who are associated with the Sukumar school of filmmaking. Buchi Babu Sana directed Peddi, while Srikanth Odela is helming The Paradise.

A lot of expectations were riding on the special song ‘Hellallallo’ from Peddi. However, the song failed to make the expected impact and did not add much to the overall buzz of the film.

Srikanth Odela, on the other hand, seems to have passed where Buchi Babu failed. The combination of Srikanth Odela and Anirudh Ravichander has struck the right chord with ‘Yesha Nagula’, which has turned into an instant chartbuster.

There are some complaints about the video song, especially regarding the dance choreography and a few of the moves. But when it comes to the audio, ‘Yesha Nagula’ is working big across all sections.

From A to C centres, from America to Amalapuram, the song has created the required magic and is generating strong mass interest around The Paradise.

Such songs play a crucial role in building mass hype, especially in rural areas. A catchy number that connects with the masses can create strong talk around a film and keep the audience interested even before its release.

With ‘Yesha Nagula’ striking the chord with listeners, Srikanth Odela and Anirudh have given The Paradise the kind of mass musical boost that Peddi’s ‘Hellallallo’ could not provide.
