Kichcha Sudeepa’s new project was announced on the special occasion of the actor’s birthday. Although the director of the film has not yet been revealed, the movie is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, with Priya Sudeep presenting it through Supriyanvi Picture Studio.

The film’s title has been revealed as Devaraaya through a first-look poster and title glimpse. Kichcha Sudeepa is presented in a richly detailed royal avatar, sporting a magnificent crown, traditional attire and elaborate pearl jewellery. However, it is his expression that makes the look particularly striking. His controlled gaze and composed demeanour create the impression of a ruler who commands immense power.

That quality is particularly significant for a character like Sri Krishna Devaraaya. One of the legendary emperors of the Vijayanagara Dynasty, he remains an enduring historical figure associated with military prowess, administration, culture and patronage. Bringing such a personality to the screen requires a combination of physical presence and performance authority, and Sudeepa’s first glimpse suggests that the actor has embraced the responsibility with conviction.

The overall atmosphere is further elevated by Gowra Hari’s commanding score, which lends the glimpse an imposing quality while complementing Sudeepa’s regal screen presence.

The film is slated for a December 2027 theatrical release.
