Irumudi May Not Stop Until The Paradise Arrives

Ravi Teja’s Irumudi is continuing its sensational run at the box office and is showing no signs of slowing down. The film has collected ₹200 crore worldwide and is still attracting audiences to theatres even in its second week.

Trade circles believe that the film has a golden opportunity to extend its run thanks to the upcoming holiday season. This weekend brings a three-day holiday advantage, with Krishna Janmashtami falling on Friday, giving families and moviegoers extra time to visit cinemas.

Another major factor helping Irumudi is the absence of any big Telugu release. While films like Rambha Oorvasi Menaka, Romachakam, I’m Game, and a few other small releases are arriving this week, they are not expected to pose a serious threat to Ravi Teja’s blockbuster.

The good news does not end there. The following weekend is also expected to provide a boost. With the second Saturday, Sunday, and Vinayaka Chavithi holiday on Monday, theatres could once again witness healthy footfalls for Irumudi.

Even if occupancy levels drop, the film has built enough goodwill to continue pulling audiences in decent numbers. Strong word of mouth and repeat viewership are helping it maintain momentum.

With The Paradise scheduled to arrive on September 24, many in the trade believe Irumudi could continue its successful run until then. If that happens, the film will add big numbers to its already outstanding box-office journey. Let’s see what happens.
