Mythri, Prashanth Neel’s 418 Finally Cleared Censor

A horror thriller without the usual dose of comic relief is what Mythri Movie Makers, led by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar, is promising with its upcoming release 418. The film presented by Prashanth Neel and directed by Kirtan Nadagouda is being positioned as a serious thrilling experience where suspense and psychological fear take precedence over conventional horror-comedy elements.

418 has cleared its censor process after many days with an A certificate and is set to frighten audiences in theatres from September 18. The certification, coupled with the tone of its promotional material, has added to the curiosity surrounding the film.

The release date poster also establishes an eerie mood. It features a person sitting alone on the floor in a shadow-filled setting, while a hand reaches toward a blood-like mark extending across the floor.

The film stars Surya Raj, Charan Lakkaraju, and Preethi Pagadal in important roles. The technical crew comprises cinematographer Dinesh Divakar and composer Venky GG.
