From Babu Ready To Babu Packup: 20 Months For Varanasi

January 24, 2025, Mahesh Babu started his journey with Varanasi and the excitement around the Rajamouli project has only grown since then. After a dedicated schedule, the Superstar has now reached an important stage.

Yesterday, September 22, Mahesh wrapped up his part of the shoot for Varanasi.

Superstar has spent a considerable amount of time on this highly ambitious project, making Varanasi one of the most awaited films in his career. His portions being wrapped is now a major milestone for the team.

Rajamouli is simultaneously moving ahead with the remaining shoot and extensive post production work. The film is expected to enter the final phase soon, with the team targeting the announced April 7, 2027 release.

For Mahesh Babu, it is finally a wrap for this phase after months of intense work. The next big wait is for the audience to see what Rajamouli has created with Mahesh in this ambitious world.
