YS Jagan Skips Sharmila Daughter’s Engagement

YS Sharmila’s daughter Anjili Reddy’s engagement was held in a grand manner in Hyderabad on Thursday. Telangana CM Revanth Reddy attended the ceremony along with his wife and blessed the couple. Several other political leaders and family members were also present.

But one notable absence was YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Sharmila’s own brother did not attend the engagement, despite the event being an important family occasion.

The absence has attracted attention as Jagan and Sharmila have been maintaining distance for some time amid their political and family differences. Sharmila had recently said that she would personally invite Jagan for her daughter’s wedding and that there was nothing political about the invitation.

Interestingly, Jagan had attended Sharmila’s son Raja Reddy’s engagement in 2024 along with his wife Bharathi.

Interestingly, Jagan’s foreign travel plans have now added another angle to the story. He has reportedly obtained court permission for a foreign trip during the period around the wedding. Anjili Reddy’s wedding is scheduled for November 25, while the reception will be held on December 5.

If the foreign trip overlaps with these dates, Jagan could miss the wedding as well. However, his final travel schedule and his attendance at the wedding have not been officially confirmed yet.
