What A Changeover Dhanush!

Dhanush is one of the versatile actors of Indian cinema whose name resonates in every household, especially in Tamil Nadu. He built a career on films where oppression is the main theme. Slowly, he built credibility for himself and even became a director. Dhanush is a star hero who has featured in many oppression-based films among the latest generation of actors. Now, he seems to be leaning toward devotional backdrops.

Dhanush is doing a film with Vetrimaran which is set against the backdrop of the Hindu god Lord Murugan. The project was announced with much hungama and hoopla, and it should be interesting since it comes from Vetrimaran, who usually doesn’t have firm faith in God.

And then, Dhanush signed a new film with the director of Labbar Pandu, under Sithara Entertainments production and Primark Productions. The new project also seems to be set against the devotional backdrop again.

The deets about the latest film are under wraps, but the poster suggests a devotional backdrop, as it features the doors of a Temple. Dhanush, a firm devotee of Lord Siva, seems to be trying films with a devotional touch, spreading the Sanatana Dharma factor across the globe. We have to see if Dhanush gets a hit in this new path.

Directed by Tamizharasan Pachamuthu, the film also features SJ Suryah, Vadivelu, Preity Mukundan, and others. Sai Abhyankar is the film’s music director.
