Urvashi Rautela’s ₹7,000 Cr Legal Fight With US Company

In times like these, technological advancements are both a boon and a bane. Often, we have seen celebrities fall prey to the misuse of Artificial Intelligence. Now, Urvashi Rautela seems to have pursued damages estimated at 7000 Cr rupees from an unnamed Los Angeles-based AI company for alleging the unauthorized commercial use of her identity.

Urvashi’s team claims that the AI firm exploited the actress’s identity without her permission or authorization. The identity includes her name, images, and videos. In their statement, the actress’s team said, “Build your AI company. Build your brand. But keep Urvashi’s name out of your business unless you have permission.”

Meanwhile, celebrities are getting court orders to protect their personality rights, so no one can illegally misuse their identity in any way. Already, we have seen Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachhan, Salman and others approaching the court. We have to see how Urvashi’s legal fight progresses.

On the work front, Urvashi was last seen in the film Welcome to the Jungle and will next be seen in Black Rose and Kasoor 2.
