That’s Fanboy Anirudh For Rajini!

The initial songs from Jailer 2 received a dull response, but there was a lot of expectation for the latest song, One Name. Well, the song has finally been released, and Anirudh has delivered what many fans were waiting for a decent number.

One Name may not be an out-and-out mass anthem like Hukum from Jailer, but it works well as a celebration of Superstar Rajinikanth. Anirudh’s love and admiration for Rajinikanth can be clearly felt in the song, making it look like a proper fanboy tribute.

The song has also arrived at an important time for Jailer 2. The film has a huge theatrical target, and the makers need to create strong pre-release hype before the film hits the screens. With the initial songs getting only average response, One Name gives the team a much-needed boost.

Anirudh is expected to play a key role in building the film’s hype through his music and background score. His combination with Rajinikanth worked extremely well in the first Jailer, and expectations are naturally high for the sequel.

Now, all eyes are on Nora Fatehi’s special song and the theatrical trailer. If both manage to create strong buzz, Jailer 2 could enter the final promotional phase with much better momentum
