Will Hanuman Ansh Recover Big Numbers In Telugu States?

Hanuman Ansh is one of the most successful films to hit the Indian box office in recent years. Vishal Chaturvedi wrote, directed, and Co-produced it under his banner, Swambhu Media Network. The film is now being dubbed into Telugu with the same title. In fact, the Telugu-dubbed version was supposed to release last month, but it was delayed and will now release on 9th October by Hombale Films.

Interestingly, the popular production house that backed films like KGF, Kantara, and Mahavatar Narsimha got the rights and is distributing it in the Telugu states on a refundable advance basis. The film’s business is 5 Cr rupees in Telangana and another 9 Cr rupees in Andhra Pradesh. Some big names in Telugu distribution are associated with the film right now.

Across the nation, the film’s Hindi version run is almost coming to an end. Made on a shoestring budget, the film quickly went on to gross big revenues at the box office from all regions.

In most of the major A centers, the audiences had already watched the Hindi version. Especially in the Telugu states, most of the audiences caught up with the film even before the news about the Telugu version came.

So, at this moment, the bet on the project looks risky but the Telugu audience can embrace the film no matter what. So it is interesting to see how the makers are going to handle the film now.

The film is the first installment of a trilogy; it is based on his book Divine Detour: That Changed My Life, which is based on the life of Neem Karoli Baba. Since the first installment has become a big hit, we have to see how the franchise shapes up in the coming days.
