Trust becomes a dangerous weapon in Prime Video’s upcoming reality series The Traitors Telugu. The streaming platform has unveiled the trailer for the 10-episode show, offering a fascinating glimpse into a high-stakes competition where 20 celebrities must identify the traitors hiding among them.

The trailer wastes little time in creating an atmosphere of mystery. Secret alliances, calculated moves, accusations and shifting loyalties form the backbone of the game, with contestants never knowing whether the person standing beside them is an ally or someone secretly working against them.

Adding another layer of intrigue is Teja Sajja, who makes his reality television hosting debut. The actor arrives in a completely new avatar and instantly grabs attention. His modern looks make him stand out visually, while his strong voice give him the domination expected from someone overseeing such a complicated game.

The celebrity lineup features Chinmayee Sripada, Harsha Vardhan, Pragathi Mahavadi, Shreedevi Chowdary, Nikhil Vijayendra Simha, Vidyu Raman, Vishnu Oi, Shravya Varma, Dr Meghanath Reddy, Mouneesha Chowdary, Sweekar Agasthi, Ashika Padukone, Varsha D’Souza, Pranav aka Abhinavakavi, SS Vardhan, Rahat Achanta, Gaurav Sunil, Sai Ronak, Puppala Dhanunjaya and Phalguni Bangera.

The trailer’s biggest strength is the way it maintains suspense. It gives enough glimpses to establish the stakes but holds back crucial details, allowing the mystery to remain intact. Every exchange appears loaded with meaning, and every alliance could potentially collapse with one revelation.

Produced by SOL Production, the Telugu adaptation will stream exclusively on Prime Video in Telugu with English subtitles. The series will release new episodes every Thursday at 12 PM.

With a dangerous game, an intriguing ensemble and Teja Sajja bringing a fresh dimension as host, The Traitors Telugu has certainly succeeded in building curiosity with its trailer.
