Following the blockbuster success of COURT – State Vs A Nobody, Unanimous Productions is preparing for its next release with Alias Rukmini. Presented by Natural Star Nani, the film stars Nithiin. Murali Kanth Devasoth of Dhandora fame is directing, while Deepthi Ganta is producing the project that has been building positive momentum since its title glimpse.

The team has chosen December 4 for the film’s worldwide release, with production entering its final stretch. Only one more shooting schedule remains, while post-production work is being carried out alongside filming. In fact, December 4 seems to be an ideal date for the film’s release.

The release-date poster reinforces the film’s grounded characterisation. Surrounded by a crowd at a court, Nithiin appears in a guy next door look, complete with spectacles, and a shoulder bag. The imposing female silhouette introduces a layer of intrigue, suggesting that there is more to his seemingly ordinary world than meets the eye.

What makes Alias Rukmini particularly interesting is its central character and the secret that disrupts his life. Nithiin plays Krishna, an ordinary man whose quiet existence takes an unexpected turn when he falls in love. A concealed truth soon puts his understanding of life and relationships to the test, setting the stage for a narrative that questions social perceptions while weaving together romance and humour.

The promotional campaign will soon move into its next phase, beginning with the first single, scored by Vijai Bulganin.
