Upon CM’s Request, Tollywood Stars Speaking On El Niño!

It is known that the world is witnessing extreme heat conditions due to the ongoing El Niño scenario. There is going to be a lot of climatic stress on the environment and there are reports about possible water shortage and agricultural issues.

Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy has spoken about this as he said all of India will have to start preparing for the worst case scenario as there could be severe shortage in water and agricultural supplies.

Revanth Reddy called on celebrities to enlighten and teach the public about the devastating effects of El Niño and Tollywood has reacted positively to the same.

Today, veteran hero Nagarjuna commented that the film industry will be first in line to help the common public during the time of crisis. He said the film industry understands the impact of El Niño and added that certain measures will be taken to mitigate the effects of the same.

This was followed by other related comment from Vijay Deverakonda, who had a new theatrical release today in the form of Ranabaali. He pointed out that his film is also coincidentally based on the famine from the 1880 and there was an El Niño back then as well.

He said El Niño is a natural phenomenon that comes up once in 150 years and it coincidentally happens to be unfolding now. Vijay added that is a perfect opportunity for the public to educate themselves on this matter through this film.

It is good to see the Telugu film industry starting to speak proactively about the effects of El Niño and the possible repercussions on the common folk.
