Keerthy Suresh appears to be entering one of the most challenging phases of her career with Akka. The newly released teaser of the Netflix series offers a glimpse of her in a fierce and powerful avatar.

Set in the 1980s, the series takes place in Pernuru, a fictional kingdom in South India. Keerthy plays Bhavani, a woman who holds considerable power, and Radhika Apte plays Rudra, whose arrival appears to threaten the existing order and sets the stage for an intense clash.

The teaser presents a world filled with violence, rivalries, and shifting power equations. Women are shown controlling not only the kingdom but also its criminal networks and gold trade.

The central conflict between Bhavani and Rudra appears to be the driving force behind the story. For Keerthy, Akka could be an important project as she takes on a character that demands intensity and authority.

Keerthy describes Bhavani as one of the most unique and memorable roles of her career. Her face-off with Radhika Apte is another major attraction, with both performers bringing different shades of their acting prowess to the table.
