ARR Misses Something, But Yash Nails It With His Energy

Ramayana: Part 1 is gearing up for a grand release next month. The team is promoting the film aggressively, and the Telugu pre-release event received a lot of attention. Meanwhile, the team launched an audio single from the film. The song showcases the world of Ravana and his admiration for Lord Shiva. The song begins with the Siva Tandava Stotram and has lyrics related to Ravana. The team named it Ravana Tandav.

AR Rahman composed the tune, and it is crooned by Vishal Dadlani. The lyrics are penned by Kumar Vishwas. The Shiva Tandava Stotram takes people into a trance, and a lot of Shiva devotees tune in to it for several occasions. It has got a lot of remix versions available on the internet, but the start of the song with Shiva Tandava Stotram sounded pretty normal.

There was a time when Rahman had given his classical touch to Suprabhatham, and had he done the same here, it would have been an instant chartbuster.

However, the second part of the song took off pretty well. The best part of the song is that Yash complemented the tune with his energy and towering screen presence.

His Tandavam moves bring larger than life energy to the screen and are sure to deliver goosebumps on the big screen after release.

Ajay Atul’s music for Adipurush helped the film gain a lot of attention and if the current film’s audio album carries at least one song like that, given the presence of big stars in the film, that would be a positive factor for the film.

Ranbir Kapoor is seen as Rama, and Yash will be seen as Ravana in the film. Sai Pallavi will be seen as Sita, and Ravie Dubey will be seen as Lakshman. Sunny Deol is seen as Hanuman in the film. Yash is co-producing the film along with Namit Malhotra. Shridhar Raghavan & Nitesh Tiwari provided the screenplay.

The film’s first part is heading for a release on November 5, 2026.
