Kerala Chief Minister Satheesan has publicly praised the Malayalam sensation Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, starring Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju. In a Facebook post, he shared his experience of watching the film with his daughter and her friend after a long gap.
Satheesan said the film reminded him of his childhood and the village life he had witnessed growing up. He appreciated the way the film portrayed ordinary people, their relationships and the warmth of romance.
The CM said the film kept him engaged throughout, making him laugh and occasionally feel emotional. He also praised the performances, noting that even actors appearing in just one or two scenes made their presence felt.
Satheesan revealed that he rarely writes appreciation notes after watching films, but this experience left him refreshed. He also called director Girish and actor Sangeeth Prathap to congratulate them, while he could not reach Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju.
He also singled out Glikson, played by Roshan Shanavas, as a character who won his heart. Satheesan congratulated the entire team, describing the film as a complete team effort.
