Superstar Mahesh is getting ready to kick start the shooting of his upcoming film ‘Sarkaru Vari Pata’ which is being carved by Parasuram of Geetha Govindam fame. And then, which director would helm Mahesh’s next after the superstar wraps this movie.
Though many young directors are looking forward to directing Mahesh, the star director is said to be looking forward to teaming up with his old horses. Reports are coming that two directors, who have no successful films to their credit at the present time are actually in talks with the actor.
One of them happens to be Gunasekhar who has given a career defining blockbuster like Okkadu to Mahesh almost two decades ago. But with Mahesh not showing interest to play a guest role in Rudramadevi carved by the director years ago, the two had a fallout. However, they are said to have made amends as Mahesh spoke to Guna recently and asked him to ready a script.
Same is the case with director Sreenu Vaitla who gave all time blockbuster Dookudu to Mahesh but failed to live up to that with Aagadu. The director had a couple of projects lined up but then he’s in discussions with Superstar too regarding a film.
Will these two seniors who are going through a rough patch now get chance to direct Mahesh again? Only their scripts will decide that.
