Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma are blessed with a baby girl. Short while ago Kohli shared his joy on the social media by posting a note.
“We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat,” stated the note.
Anushka and Virat tied the knot on December 11, 2017 and they announced the news of Anushka’s pregnancy in August last year, amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Earlier in an interview, Anushka said that she and Virat do not to want to “raise a child in the public eye”.
Best wishes to Virat and Anushka on becoming parents. This is indeed a great news and what a time to come when team India down under displayed a superb fighting spirit in the just concluded third Test match.
