The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend and roommate Siddharth Pithani in Hyderabad today in connection with the drugs probe. Though Siddharth was questioned by the NCB earlier, the national agency hadn’t got a proper evidence to arrest him then.
According to latest media reports, NCB has got some ‘evidence’ including some phone calls and WhatsApp details regarding Siddharth’s alleged connection with drug peddlers.
Based on these ‘evidences’, NCB has arrested Siddharth. Siddharth is going to be produced in the court soon. NCB is expecting that upon further investigation of Siddharth, it may lead them to more information and more names who allegedly involved in drugs.
It can be noted that Siddharth was the first person to see the late actor Sushant Singh hanging in his bedroom on June 14, 2020. Siddharth, who was working with a graphic design agency, had quit the job to work for Sushant Singh upon Sushant’s friend Ayush Sharma’s call. Siddharth had worked for Sushant’s Dream 150 project. He had quit after Ayush had left. However, Sushant called upon Siddharth in Jan 2020 to work on Dream 150.
