Sneh Rana Scripts All-round Record

On one hand, the Indian Cricket Men’s team is fighting New Zealand in World Test Championship, and on the other hand, the Indian Cricket Women’s team is fighting England in a Test match. On Saturday, Indian women’s team all-rounder Sneh Rana created a unique record and turned the attention of sports lovers. Sneh Rana has become the first Indian woman cricketer and fourth overall to have both a 50+ score and a 4+ wicket haul on Test debut.

India and England are fighting in their one-off Test match at Edgbaston. The Indian team was bowled out for 231 runs in their first innings. In their second innings, the team took a 179-run lead by chasing England’s score of 396 runs.

Sneh Rana registered impressive figures with both bat and ball. With 4/131, Rana scored a half-century in India’s second innings. She is remained unbeaten on 80 (in 154 balls) by building a strong partnership with Taniya Bhatia (44 not out). Both Rana and Taniya shared 144 runs for the ninth wicket in 30.4 overs. With Rana’s stunning show on the field, India managed to draw the match with England on the final day.
