Vijayamma shot off letter to Shinde

Following strong reports that centre was going ahead with the cabinet note on the bifurcation of state, the YSR Congress party on Friday shot off a letter to Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde demanding him to  revoke the decision to create telangana state and keep the state united.

Party honorary President YS Vijayamma said in the letter that "it is unfortunate that centre is going ahead to do this injustice at the behest of Congress only for the sake of votes and seats inspite of repeated pleas to stop this injustice and to stall the process."  This amounted to ignoring the fundamental principles of justice and is also in absolute disregard to the fact that YSR party, MIM and CPI (M) were opposed to the division of state.

She said 60 per cent of the state people was against the division and has been fighting against injustice for the past 38 days. In the larger interest of the state, centre should stop the process which was playing havoc with the lives of people.
