Rakul Preet Singh closed 2025 on an absolute high note with De De Pyaar De 2 becoming a blockbuster success, cementing her position as one of Bollywood’s most bankable actresses. The film gave her massive commercial credibility and fans were eagerly waiting for her next big release in 2026.

However, 2026 has opened on a rather quiet note for Rakul. Her much-awaited Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, starring alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, collected only ₹3.85 crore on its opening day, a significant gap compared to the ₹9.10 crore that the 2019 original earned on day one.
