Even as the allegations are rife that YCP and BJP are having a secret understanding, the leaders of both the parties have met secretly in New Delhi which was caught on camera.
This meet comes just days after Narendra Modi's meeting with BJP AP chief Kanna Lakshminarayana and adds significance to the ongoing speculations that BJP and YSRCP have a secret deal.
As per reliable reports, YCP MLA and PAC chairman Buggana Rajendranath Reddy, BJP MLA Akula Satyanarayana together have met BJP's national general secretary Ram Madhav. The meeting is primarily about how to target Chandrababu Naidu and his government.
Earlier on Thursday, Kanna, Purandheswari, Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao have met some top officials in PMO and discussed various issues. The trio said to have taken crucial details from the PMO officials over the disbursed funds to AP in order to level fresh allegations against Naidu.
Meanwhile, YCP MLA Buggana and BJP MLA Akula said to have given a list of topics to BJP senior leader Ram Madhav to corner AP state government. The topics include Polavaram, Pattiseema and the construction of government buildings, infrastructure in Amaravati. Also, YCP and BJP leaders said to have discussed on how to defame the ruling TDP in AP.
The series of meetings between BJP AP leaders in PMO with various top officials and YCP leaders' meet with BJP's senior leaders have kicked up a political storm in the state.
After meeting Ram Madhav, Buggana and Akula have come to AP Bhavan in the same car. That's when the duo is spotted by cameras. However, later Akula had clarified that they have been close friends from longtime and they met when they bumped into each other at AP Bhavan. He claimed that the meeting has nothing to do with 'politics'.
On the other hand, TDP leaders have hit back at YCP and BJP leaders over their secret meeting in New Delhi. Telugu Desam Party leaders said that the incidents have once again proved BJP and YCP's secret understanding. TDP leaders added that people of AP are closely observing the moves of YCP and BJP and enthused confidence on public that they would give a strong reply to YCP and BJP in the coming elections.
