Trouble continues to hover Telugu Desham Party in Andhra Pradesh as its leaders look for a better opportunity in the form of BJP. The party recently suffered a major setback after four of its Rajya Sabha members decided to quit TDP to join the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Even before the leadership and the party could recover from that shock, TDP's senior and noted film producer Ambika Krishna is also expected to exit party. Ambika Krishna, who recently stepped down as chairman of Film, Television and Theatre Development Corporation (FDC), is likely to fly to New Delhi tonight and he will reportedly join BJP at party headquarters tomorrow. Krishna had a long association with TDP since NTR's time and he also was instrumental in getting a few celebs from film industry into the party, the latest being actress Divyavani.
Ambika Krishna, who hails from Eluru in West Godavari started his film career as an exhibitor, and went on to become distributor & producer in the later days. Ambica also served as Chairman and Managing Director at Ambica Agarbathies Aroma and Industries Limited.
