Pawan closeness with staunch critic of BJP

For the common man, Pawan Kalyan's Haridwar trip sounds like a purely spiritual one for self's sake, but actually the Janasena president was there at Matri Ashram to take part in the first death anniversary of Ganga activist GD Agrawal who lost his life after 111 days of fasting to make the government act on its Ganga cleansing promise.

On the other hand, BJP's state leadership is trying to create bonhomie between Pawan Kalyan and the party again, such that the 2024 elections will be a different ball game for them here. In the wake of that, BJP's top brass are said to have got upset with the way Pawan plans his meetings and associations with staunch critics of RSS and Hindutva agendas.

At the meeting that took place at Matri Ashram, Haridwar, the likes of Conservationist Rajendra Singh and Prof Neeraj Soni, who are staunch critics of BJP have taken the centre-stage along with Pawan Kalyan, as it is on their invitation that the Janasena president went all the way up to visit Ganga.

PM Narendra Modi, who happens to be Varanasi MP, promised to enact Ganga Act, which happens to be the demand of GD Agrawal and Matri Ashram, but that is not happening. Now that Pawan joined forces with these people for the same Ganga Act, will all go well between Janaesna and BJP for a coalition is something we have to see.
