Maharashtra and Haryana polling underway

The voting for the assembly of Maharashtra and Haryana states are underway on Monday morning. The voters are turning out at the polling booth and at many places, voters have gathered in queues. As per the Election Commission of India, till 11 AM, only 6.35 percent polling is registered in Maharashtra while in Haryana it is 11.68 percent.

Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar voted in his Karnal constituency and after polling he appealed to the people to go and exercise their democratic right. Khattar came in a cycle to the polling booth and attracted the voters.

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis voted at a polling booth in Nagpur along with his wife Amrutha and mother Saritha. Shiva Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray cast his vote in Bandra.
