Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s much-awaited mass action entertainer Peddi, directed by the ambitious Buchi Babu Sana, is set to hit theatres worldwide on April 30th. Backed by producer Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, the film has been creating strong buzz right from its striking first look to the First Shot Glimpse and the chartbuster first single Chikiri Chikiri. Chikiri Chikiri, in particular, has become a monstrous hit with Sensational Views and innumerable reels flooding the social media across the languages. The Buzz is just amplifying even more with the Second Single arriving soon.
Meanwhile, Prathyangira Cinemas has acquired the North America rights and will release Peddi across the territory, with premieres scheduled on April 29th. Given the distributor’s solid blockbuster track record, the film is poised for a massive North America release propelled by extensive promotional campaigns.
Ram Charan plays a challenging and rustic character that demands multiple looks, and his intense performance and electrifying dance sequences are set to be major highlights. Ever since the star’s First Look from the film released, there were expectations that Charan is up for a National Award Winning Performance.
After delivering a sensational debut with the blockbuster Uppena, Buchi Babu Sana is now returning with a much bigger venture, Peddi, crafted on a grander canvas in terms of story, character depth, scale, and technical finesse.
The film, presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, features Janhvi Kapoor as the leading lady, alongside powerhouse performers Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and Boman Irani, each playing crucial roles. Adding further weight to this pan-India spectacle is the musical brilliance of Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman.
With Ram Charan stepping into a rugged, raw, and never-seen-before avatar, Peddi is poised to offer an intense, powerful, and larger-than-life experience. With each promotional content from the film rolling, the anticipation grows even more on the film.
