Another NRI dies of cardiac arrest in USA

The number of Indian residents dying due to health issues in USA keeps rising as similar tragedies are being reported quite often these days. It is very concerning that most of these people are in their mid 40s and working as software professionals.

In what could be another distressing news to the Indian diaspora, Pune based NRI Sanket Joshi passed away due to cardiac arrest earlier this week in Pennsylvania USA. Despite immediate medical intervention, Sanket couldn’t saved as doctors declared him dead after he didn’t respond to CPR. He was survived by a wife and a daughter.

Close friends revealed that Sanket developed mild chest pain late in the night after attending a client dinner. He immediately sought help from his colleague after feeling uneasy and was rushed to hospital for medical assistance. By the time he was admitted, Sanket unfortunately fell unconscious. Doctors tried to resuscitate him with the help of CPR, but to no avail.

Family members were in deep shock with the loss. Efforts are now being made to bring the mortal remains back to India for final rites.
