USA: Telugu Student Dies In A Fatal Car Accident

The Indian diaspora living abroad is going through a tragic phase due to recurring unfortunate incidents in the form of unexpected deaths due to accidents and health issues. NRIs especially Telugu Students from Telugu states are accounting for majority of these deaths.

Now, another heartbreaking news is being reported. As per reliable reports, Telugu student Prasanna Atluri lost her life in a car accident in upstate New York on July 5, 2026. A recent graduate of Pace University, she was just starting her professional career in the U.S.A. She hails from Andhra Pradesh.

Reports indicate the fatal collision occurred after another driver allegedly jumped the red signal and crashed into the victim’s vehicle. Prasanna was seriously injured in this accident and breathed her last in the hospital despite getting medical attention.

This sudden act of negligence has devastated her family back in India. The incident is another painful reminder of the unpredictable dangers international students face far from home.

Close friends and family back are trying to transport the mortal returns to India with the help of Telugu community.
