Twist In Finland Missing Case Of Hyd Student Death

Yesterday, it was reported that Hyderabad based student Gujja Manideep Reddy, who gone missing mysteriously two months ago in Finland, has been found dead near a beach as per the version of police there. But, the case has now taken a dramatic turn with the latest development.

Reportedly, Finland police sent an email to the parents back in Hyderabad stating that Manideep had passed away and his body was found on a sea beach. The officials claimed they confirmed his identity using biometric data and forwarded images of several cards recovered along with the body.

However, Manideep’s father Mutyam Reddy has strongly refuted the findings and refused to believe that the recovered body belongs to his son. The family has raised suspicion about the investigation led by Finland police. His father pointed out that his son went missing on May 5, and questioned how a body could suddenly appear on a beach after many days.

The family is expressing doubts because as per Finland laws, missing cases should be traced within three weeks, but Manideep’s body was found after more than two months. The family blamed the police for covering up their carelessness in doing proper and swift investigation. They also raised doubts on a specific individual as the main culprit behind the mystery.

They blamed the Finland government for not granting them Visa to visit the country to know about the whereabouts. Having already filed a petition in the Telangana High Court to locate their son, the distressed family is now appealing to the Indian Government to intervene.
