Indian Man Stabbed 15 Times At US Mall

In a shocking case of religious intolerance, a muslim man of Indian origin has been brutally assaulted in USA. The Indian man named Sohail got stabbed 15 times at Valley Fair Mall in West Valley City, Utah.

As per initial reports, the incident happened Monday afternoon while the victim was working at a kiosk inside the shopping mall. He suffered more than 15 stab wounds and was rushed to a hospital for emergency treatment. Authorities described the case as a suspected hated attack as the accused asked the religion before resorting to the crime.

The suspect has been identified as 48-year-old Peter Michael Larsen. According to court records, he admitted that he wanted to kill the victim because he was Muslim. Police arrested him at the scene after several shoppers stepped in and stopped the attack.

Eye witnesses managed to grab the knife and hold the suspect until police teams arrival. He is now being held without bail. It is found that he was already on parole for a previous crime in which he was found guilty.

Sohail remains in critical condition and is expected to need a long period of medical care for recovery.
