Karoline Leavitt is set to leave her role as White House press secretary at the end of this month, but she is not moving far from President Donald Trump’s political circle.
Leavitt confirmed that she will return to MAGA Inc, a super PAC aligned with Trump. She previously worked as a spokesperson for the group.
Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Leavitt said people will continue to see her frequently even after leaving the White House.
The 28 year old official said she is stepping down mainly to focus on her family. She described the decision as bittersweet.
Leavitt is now expected to continue her political work through MAGA Inc, keeping her closely connected with the Trump camp.
