The onset of the Donald Trump administration has changed the visa regulations in the United States and it has become extremely tough to acquire the travel visas these days. Earlier tourism visas were very easy to acquire, but that is not the case after Trump became the President.

Subsequently, the family members of the Indian origin individuals in the United States are unable to travel there to be with them in important times. This is particularly reflecting in the case of two parents in Telangana, who had to bless their child virtually while she was getting married.

These two parents happen to be from Telangana with their only daughter having gone to the United States a few years ago. While this lady who had settled in the United States was getting married, the parents could not be there due to the visa problems.

At the same time, the daughter also might have decided against coming to India to get married as going back to the US in the current visa situation is extremely tough.

With no other option left this daughter reportedly got married in the United States while her parents who could not travel their had to bless her virtually through a video call.

Usually, Indian parents are extremely particular about the marriage of their kids and put a lot of effort into this from planning to execution. But these are changing quickly, and the prevailing situation in the US has resulted in parents, unable to even be there with their kids while they’re getting married.
