Elon Musk’s Live-In Partner Announces Sudden Split

It is very rare that anything personal about the world’s richest man Elon Musk makes headlines these days as most of the time it is his vast business empire that grab the media attention.

Reportedly, Musk’s longtime partner Shivon Zilis have parted way abruptly. The Neuralink executive confirmed the shocking news on social media after fans noticed that the Tesla CEO unfollowed her on X. She posted a long message saying the breakup happened very fast and left her feeling lots of loss.
Shivon Zilis wrote that it was really hard to move from being deeply in love to letting go in just one week with no warning at all. She shared screenshots of old text messages from late September.

Zilis served as a Project Director at Tesla from 2017 to 2019, working on the Autopilot product and chip design. In 2017, she joined Neuralink as the Director of Operations and Special Projects

The couple had been living together since around 2020 and they have four kids together. The SpaceX founder now has at least 14 children with three different partners. He shares five older kids with his first wife Justine Wilson, three children with the famous Canadian singer Grimes, and his four youngest with Shivon Zilis

Even though she is deeply hurt, Zilis said she still cares for the SpaceX founder and hopes they can remain great friends and co-parents for their young children. Elon Musk has not said anything publicly about the split yet.
