USA: Indian Man Kills Wife For Dating Colleague

An Indian origin man named Ankur Patel has been arrested in USA by Chicago police for killing his separated wife over an alleged extra-marital affair with a colleague. He was caught just before trying to escape from USA to India after committing the crime.

The tragic incident happened in Chicago back in August. Police officials say that the main reason behind this brutal murder was anger because his wife started dating another colleague after they got separated.

Before the murder happened, Ankur sent their little daughter to India to stay with his parents without telling his wife. Then he called her to Chicago on the false promise that she could meet her child.

Unaware of the murder plot, the poor woman came there with her new partner and went inside Ankur’s apartment alone while her partner waited outside in the car. Ankur asked her to patch things up and live together again.

When she refused her proposal, Ankur took a knife and stabbed her in the neck multiple times until she died on the floor. The accused then tried to board a flight from Chicago, but due to closure of ticket counter, he waited at a hotel before police officers tracked him and arrested on suspicion.

The incident came to light after his friends went to the apartment to meet and found the victim’s body. They immediately alerted the police who launched an investigation and caught him.

Ankur Patel is now facing serious charges of first degree murder in the US court system.
