For the fifth consecutive year, the number of Indians studying in the United States has increased. According to the Open Doors Report on International Education Exchange, the total number of Indian pursuing higher studies in the US raised by 5.4 percent to 1,96,271.
Indian students account for 18 percent of all international students in the US and in the decade or so, the number has doubled surpassing China. The only reason behind growing Indians flocking at US universities is for a great education with international exposure.
The number of Indians studying in the US is reported at 1,86,000 in 2017. Likewise, the number of Americans studying in India has also increased by 12.5 percent to 4,704.
This is strange as despite current President Donald Trump imposing restrictions, students from the country are making it to North America.
