Sobhita Slays ELLE Style Awards in Velvet

Sobhita Dhulipala picked up the Style Icon award at the ELLE Style Awards 2026, and she looked stunning while doing it. She wore a black velvet jacket with a high collar and big red sequinned roses on the chest and sleeves.

She paired it with black wide-leg trousers, pointed pumps and chandelier earrings. Smoky eyes, a nude lip and bouncy curls finished the look. The hallway shots, with the crimson lining flaring mid-walk, added old-world glamour.

Thanking ELLE India, she said style is identity. She explained that we first borrow references from others, then start asking “does this feel like me?” She called the award a celebration of her life’s story. Next, she will be seen in Pa. Ranjith’s sci-fi drama Vettuvam.
