About a month ago, Congress leader Sachin Pilot was stripped from his deputy CM and Rajasthan PCC post. Things looked like the Congress government in Rajasthan is heading for a collapse. But out of the blue, Sachin Pilot had met both Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi to sort things out.
Following this development, Sachin Pilot claimed that he is still in Congress party and is true Congressman. But then there is a huge gap between him and Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot and this gap has been reduced as both met. Sachin reached the CM camp office and met Ashok Gehlot. Both were seen shaking hands and were in all smiles.
This is a much relieving factor for the Congress as the party is in fear of losing government. Meanwhile the BJP has served a no trust notice and based on this a voting might take place in the Rajasthan Assembly tomorrow.
Congress will hold a Legislature party meeting and in this meeting, MLAs would strengthen CM Ashok Gehlot’s leadership. So all in all Congress is likely to retain its government and no force is going to topple it.
