In a recent speech, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao called Prime Minister Narendra Modi the “most ineffective” PM of India. He criticized Modi’s administration, stating that it only boasts and makes false promises without delivering results.

K Chandrasekhar Rao, has criticized the ambitious goal set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi of making India a USD 5 trillion economy, calling it a “joke” and “silly”. Speaking in the State Assembly during a debate on the Appropriation Bill, KCR stated that the target should have been much higher and dared to dream big.

The Chief Minister compared the previous UPA government to the current NDA government and claimed that the country, especially Telangana, has lost in every sector, resulting in a loss of approximately INR 3 lakh crore in Gross State Domestic Product.

KCR also pointed out that per capita income should be considered to assess a country’s performance, and mentioned that countries like Bangladesh and Bhutan have higher per capita income than India.

The Chief Minister expressed disappointment in the Prime Minister for not speaking about the Adani issue in Parliament and criticized the government’s policy of privatizing profits while socializing losses. He also mocked the Prime Minister’s launch of Vande Bharat Express whenever a new train was introduced and said that better trains, such as the Rajdhani Express, already exist.

Finally, the Chief Minister questioned why there are water wars in the country, despite an excess of water, and blamed the successive governments at the Centre for having a “bad water policy.”
