Ambati Rayudu Not Happy With Jagan? To Enter AP Politics

In a significant development, well-known Cricketer Ambati Rayudu is all set to dive into politics. He is going to make foray into Andhra Pradesh politics. None other than Ambati has opened up about his next big step. Confirming his entry into politics, Amabti stated, “Educated youngsters should join politics to make a difference. This thought has inspired me to take up this step.”

37-year-old Ambati Rayudu is currently playing in IPL for Chennai Super Kings. (CSK). Though he is brought up in Hyderabad, he is native of Guntur district and hence he has interest in AP politics. After this IPL season, Ambati Rayudu is going to make a key announcement on his political entry. However, Ambati hasn’t revealed which political party he is going to contest from. This certainly drew a lot of interest in which party he would choose to join. Interestingly, he said AP is no longer a progressive state. He said it was once a progressive state. It is clear he is not satisfied with YSRCP government in the state.

It is not clear whether Ambati would choose opposition TDP or Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena or national party like BJP which is keen on expanding its base in South India, particularly in both Telugu states. Now, all eyes are on Ambati’s decision to join which political party. It is also buzzed that he is going to contest in the 2024 general elections.

Rayudu started his career as first-class cricketer at the age of 16. He is a popular Ranji cricketer who headed Hyderabad team in 2001-2002. He was captain for India Under-19 team at 2004 ICC world cup for under-19. He had issues with other players and associations that led him to be ignored for the national team selection.
